Houston actress Alexis Bledel may not hold top positions in the rankings of the best actors in America, but she remains a well-known personality followed by a huge number of fans.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A Shy Little Girl<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Kimberly Alexis Bledel was born on September 16, 1981, in Houston, Texas. Her mother is from Mexico, and her father from Argentina. The future actress has a diverse heritage, as her parents, grandparents, and other family members came from different countries. This unique background gave Alexis a rich and diverse upbringing, as her family raised her based on their respective homeland traditions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Her family spoke Spanish at home, and Alexis only learned English when she started school. By the age of six or seven, she began learning English.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She even felt that she and her character shared similarities, which made the filming process enjoyable and successful. After the show aired, she quickly gained popularity. In fact, for several years, many people recognized her primarily from Gilmore Girls<\/em>, despite her involvement in numerous other projects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Alexis\u2019 first feature film was Tuck Everlasting<\/em> in 2002. In 2005, she co-starred with Blake Lively and others in The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A unique experience for Alexis was her role in Sin City<\/em> in 2005. Her character, Becky, was a prostitute but portrayed as bold, strong, and daring\u2014traits the actress herself noted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Alexis has appeared in many other films and series, taking on various roles. However, when Netflix announced a revival of Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life<\/em> in 2016, she was overjoyed to be invited back to reprise her role.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 2012, Alexis began dating American actor Vincent Kartheiser. They even starred together in the series Mad Men<\/em>. The couple married in 2014, and in 2015, their son was born.
